Augusto D’Halmar in Madrid. His Articles in the Newspaper Informaciones

Abstract

This article alludes to the period in wich Augusto D’Halmar lived in Madrid (1918-1934) and the articles he wrote in the newspaper Informaciones, between 1926-1930. As this material is unpublished, an attempt is made to describe, in general terms, the contents mentioned, suggesting some reading clues. The initial hypothesis of this work claims that che chilean writer, deeply rooted in the spanish culture, outlines in this pages a humanistic ideology that comes critically to meet the big difficulties of his era.
