Abstract

Writing practices based on the appropriation and intervention of pre-existing texts have come to occupy a relevant place in contemporary literature. The work Todo está vivo y es inmundo by Soledad Fariña -the object of study of this article - is undoubtedly a clear example of the above, but at the same time, it is also an exception, since the ultimate object of Fariña’s appropriation is not a text but a silence: the silence of Clarice Lispector.
